Since our last Newsletter we have noticed a marked increase in the number of support requests we have received, from our customers and ‘new’ enquirers, for device testing and certification around the globe. Hardly surprising given the backdrop of the Covid pandemic, travel restrictions and in some cases complete travel bans.
We have offered 3GPP wireless device testing, associated certification and approval services throughout this challenging period, forging new relationships and creating innovative solutions to ensure that we can continue to assist you with your UE development and product launches.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing IoTAS as your ‘go to’ test house and we look forward to assisting you in 2021 and beyond.
Please keep safe.
If you have a wireless device that requires testing on operator networks, are seeking approvals management, or consultancy then please contact IoTAS to discuss our global solutions on +44 (0)1223 810010 or email on firstname.lastname@example.org
When Covid tries to stop you in your tracks you need innovative and robust solutions in order to support your customer’s international requirements, specifically across the three major Saudi operators; STC, Mobily and Zain.
Like so many other businesses, IoTAS has had to think of new solutions in order to support activities usually coordinated and delivered (in this case) by engineers originating from the UK. Travel bans, social distancing, isolation and, above all, ‘duty of care’ have lead us to use the Cloud and associated internet based services to facilitate certification testing remotely.
And it’s not been without its’ challenges, but with the use of industry strength, end to end encrypted communication and control systems and with the invaluable support of localised, highly skilled engineers, we have and continue to manage Device and Network Operator interoperability testing in Saudi Arabia.
Do we think this is dawn of an new era in remote testing? Well maybe, especially given the reduced carbon footprint and environmental benefits of reduced travel. It should certainly be a goal and one that we will continue to pursue where ever possible.
Recently IoTAS forged further links with a trusted partner in South East Asia and as a result are able to offer pre-testing, carrier approval and live network testing in Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.
In addition the South Asian countries of Nepal and Sri Lanka have been added to our support offering.
IoTAS provides testing services and solutions globally and by leveraging our knowledge base, agile working practices and engineering network can offer you the wireless live network validation and certification testing required for UE modules and devices.

Attending and exhibiting at events, both at home and abroad, has continued to be a challenge for the industry and we are all now highly accustomed to the online, virtual world of sharing space.
With continued commitment to supplying 3GPP wireless device testing to the critical communications and ‘Blue Light’ marketplace we will be joining this annual event to offer discussion opportunities for manufacturers and purchasers alike. We will explain how we can help bring confidence to crucial communication devices through rigorous, certified regulatory approvals and ‘live testing’.

Yet again we are delighted to announce that we have achieved ISO 17025 accreditation issued through the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), recognised for the very highest application of quality auditing.
More formally we have achieved the BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation standard which validates our competence as a testing organisation and allows us continued certification recognition through the Global Certification Forum.
To see our certificate, including 5G-NR3, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Dual SIM, RCS and MIoT testing accreditation, please click on this link. If you are considering testing your 3GPP cellular devices for IOP, certification and Operator approvals, or seeking advice, consultation and program management for compliance and regulatory approvals then contact IoTAS today and be quality assured.
For some years now IoTAS has been working with the Department for International Trade to pursue opportunities through the promotion of our services and solutions across the globe.
The DIT web portal (https://www.great.gov.uk/) offers online visitors not only the ability to research opportunities, both in the UK and abroad, but also register and upload requirements with a strong chance that a solution (provider) will respond.
We have directly benefited from working with the UK DIT, through sponsorship and promotional support, and look forward to working closely with them in the future.
IoTAS have engineers, approved representatives and partners in Europe, The Middle East, Asia, Australia and the Americas.
